What is the working principle of CNC?

CNC Machining  numerical control machining means machining with numerical control tools. CNC exponentially controlled machine tools are programmed and controlled by NC machining language, usually G code.
CNC machining G code language tells NC machine tools which Cartesian coordinates are used for cutting tools, and controls the tool feed speed and spindle speed, as well as tool converter, coolant and other functions.
Compared with manual machining, NC machining has great advantages, such as the parts produced by NC machining are very accurate and repeatable; NC machining can produce parts with complex shapes that can not be manually processed. NC machining technology has been widely promoted, most machining workshops have the ability of NC machining. The most common NC machining methods in typical machining workshops are NC milling, NC lathe and NC EDM wire cutting (WEDM).
The tool for CNC milling is called CNC milling machine or CNC machining center. A lathe for numerically controlled turning is called CNC lathe center. NC machining G code can be programmed manually, but usually the machine shop uses CAM (computer aided manufacturing) software to automatically read CAD (computer aided design) files and generate G code program to control NC machine tools.
